I love working with dedicated professionals starting out or transitioning into the field of eating disorders. I have years of experience both in practical and leadership roles in the profession.

Students and professionals tell me I am easy to work with and they are thankful for the eye-opening preparation I gave them for professional success. I can help you learn the secrets to gain years of experience in just months of mentorship or supervised experience with me.

I welcome the opportunity to talk about your professional development because I truly believe we need more qualified professionals in this area. I love providing thoughtful, unique experiences and questions that cause my professionals that I work with dig deeper to uncover a new level of insight into the mind of the consumer.

It is key to understand the emotional connection so many have to food and how this impacts long term success. I work with you to apply this to the individual that has had an eating disorder, bariatric surgery, a weight challenge or just wants to learn how to intuitively eat.

Become confident in the skills required to truly succeed.

I know how challenging it is to find other professionals who understand the food/mood/emotional eating connection. Without a roadmap, it can take a long time to get where you want to be in your career and profession. I am willing to share with you my success and failures to propel you to a higher professional level in a much shorter period of time.

“Kathryn is a true leader & mentor in the behavioral health and nutrition field. She imparts experience, wisdom and common sense that is encouraging, confidence building and inspiring for RD’s entering behavioral health nutrition.”
—Angela, CEDRD candidate/supervisee

“Kathryn infuses a bit of mental strategy and confidence building in everything. It made such a different in the progress of clients. She understands what is most valuable for those wanting to gain experience in the profession. She helped me gain years of experience in just weeks with her.”
—Amy, CEDRD candidate/supervisee.

“I worked with Kathryn for five months. In those five months, I know I have learned more than I could have in any other situation. Kathryn took a chance on me as an intern, with limited experience in her area. She really helped to mold me into who I am today. I am confident when talking about emotional eating, managing patient wants and needs, and learning how to balance my life.
She was and is an inspiration to me for the type of dietitian I would like to be. I honestly do not think I would have been able to get this far in my dietetic internship experience if it had not been for her willingness to help me through the process every step of the way. Kathryn has so many things that she is juggling, from being a full time family woman to managing her own business, teaching classes, speaking at events like a small meeting or at huge conferences like FNCE; she never lets it sway her.
She is confident, determined and kindhearted; the best things that any person could strive to be all rolled into one. The most important thing that she taught me, which I still laugh about to this day, is that ‘There is ALWAYS room for ice cream and chocolate!'”
—Samiha, Dietetic Intern
